The PlumiAJ story

PlumiAJ was born one winter evening, at home: while creating a book entirely in their image for my daughters, Agathe and Judith, I saw in their eyes a joy I wanted to share with other children.

Since then, we've been crafting truly bespoke stories, printed in France, to spread that spark of wonder. The "AJ" in PlumiAJ simply comes from Agathe & Judith — our first readers.

Order on Etsy

Choose your book on our Etsy shop, then email contact@plumiaj.fr the child's first name and age, the chosen theme and 1–2 photos (subject: order number).

Creation & approval

Within 3–4 weeks, we weave a bespoke story and craft the illustrations. You receive a preview for your feedback before printing.

Local printing

Your book comes to life in 21×21 format, 115 gsm satin/photo paper, Soft Touch cover. Made in France (Occitanie).

Careful shipping

After quality control, the book is shipped with tracked delivery and arrives ready to be gifted.

Who are your books for and which editions are available?

Four editions for children (~3–7 years, indicative). All books are printed in France in 21×21 cm format.

What are the lead times?

3 to 4 weeks for writing and illustrations, then printing and tracked shipping across Europe.

How does personalization work?

After ordering, email contact@plumiaj.fr with: first name/age, theme and 1–2 photos. You'll receive a preview for approval.

Are faces reproduced identically?

No. Characters are stylised (colours, hair, accessories) to respect image rights and preserve a soft rendering.
